Book Summary:

Legend states that a Horseman and a human woman who share dreams are destined to mate for life.

Terra, an elite Fighting Carrier, has spent his nights in delicious torment, sharing dreams with a woman who stirs his soul like no other. Unable to control his desire, he travels to her home village to claim her.

Inez enjoys her freedom too much to chain herself to a husband, even one as magnificent as the rugged, black-coated Horseman who visits her dreams. Yet when astride his sleek equine back or wrapped in his steely human arms, she cannot deny the truest love she has ever known.

Book Review:

I liked this book overall because it was different than most of the shape shifter books I have read. I have always loved horses, so Centaurs have always been fascinating to me. When I saw that it was about a shape shifter that could be a Human or a Centaur, I was intrigued. I have never seen a book like that before.

Terra, the main male character, seems at first, a little over confident of his abilities. It is not until several pages later, that we find out that he is as good as he thinks he is. So it turns out that he not only knows what he was capable of, but also knows he is the best at everything he does, and wouldn't take no for an answer. Fiercely protective, highly sexual, and all man, he would probably give even the most prudish of women wet dreams.

Inez, the main female character, I felt she gave up her vow to never marry too easily. She insisted she would never marry, and within a day of meeting him, she marries him. I think that the book would have been much better if she had been a bit more stubborn and held on to her vow a bit longer.

However, given the very stubborn attitudes from Terra, her dream lover, I can understand why she felt she had no other alternative. I think it would be very hard to resist a man that looks like him for very long.

Regardless, the book was still very enjoyable. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Centaurs, lots of steamy sex, and hot sexy men.
